General FAQs

  • A great brand takes time, so we recommend booking your project in as soon as you’re ready. Our calendar does book 3-4 months in advance, so keep that in mind when enquiring!

  • We get it! This is a big investment which is why we take an initial deposit, then depending on the size of investment, there will be scheduled milestone payments as your project progresses. We are also flexible and happy to chat about what kind of payment plan suits you.

  • Yes! Just like no two people are the same, we don’t expect every business to be. While we have two packages, these have been carefully curated after years of experience and will cover most bases. However, each package can be tailored to suit your business needs.

  • This is something we pride ourselves on! At the forefront of all our projects is simplicity, honesty and communication. Especially for first time-branders, this can all get a little confusing, so we aim to keep it simple, be upfront about all project milestones and clearly communicate expectations. The process itself is simple and is broken down into four steps - collaborating, strategising, designing and celebrating!

Branding FAQs

  • Depending on the size of your project, our timelines range from 3 weeks to 3 months. This allows for all project milestones to be met, and ensures you feel confident and capable post project handover.

  • Refinements are your opportunity to provide feedback on the strategy and/or design. In each project, we allow for two rounds of revisions per milestone, which you’ll be aware of upfront. We’ve found that two rounds is sufficient for any project, as anything beyond this can result in delays to your timeline and can risk falling into a never ending revision cycle! We do understand that sometimes things aren’t perfect after two rounds, if this is the case, then we charge a minimum hourly fee of $75/hr per request.

  • Brand strategy (or as we like to call it, your Brand Blueprint) is the bread and butter of your business. Brand strategy is the bridge that gaps where you are now, to where you want to be. It’s the key ingredient to designing an intentional and soul-led brand identity. Together we work through our signature blueprint process to challenge and uncover your true purpose.

  • As a standard rule, we don’t design just logos. Our smallest package, The Brand Glow Up, includes everything you’ll need to get your brand off the ground. It ensures a well-rounded and cohesive visual identity that you can apply to any application, whether print or digital.

    This package takes the hard work out of branding, allowing business owners to spend their time working on the things they’re best at!

  • While Kaitlyn has humble beginnings as a packaging and print designer, we only offer this for clients who we’ve worked with on The Signature Package. The reason for this, it ensures we understand the strategic positioning of the brand and business, we can accurately design the packaging with all assets. We do have strict guidelines in place to ensure a smooth project and will require a conversation prior to undertaking this.

  • Yes, of course! This is where the magic of your brand really starts to show. At additional costs, we offer a wide range of marketing collateral, from flyers and business cards to multi-page documents. Just let us know during the discovery call and we’ll add it to your proposal.

 

Website FAQs

  • Ideally, yes! We love bringing a whole brand to life through a website. While we wish we could help all business owners with their websites, we prefer to know and understand the business in its entirety before undertaking a website project. The reason for this, it ensures we understand the strategic positioning of the brand and business, and we can accurately design the website with all the correct assets.

    We do offer two options for website design. One is a completely customised and developed website in Squarespace and the second is a website template that can be customised to suit your needs.

    If you already have a brand completed by another designer, we’d be happy to chat about how we could work together on your website. We do have strict guidelines in place to ensure a smooth project and will require a conversation prior to undertaking this.

  • Short answer, no. E-commerce sites are a big undertaking for both designer and client. We design the majority of our websites in Squarespace which is a platform that better serves service-based businesses. We do, however, have a number of recommendations of designers who work on e-commerce sites that we’d be happy to put you in touch with.

  • Website projects can vary in duration based on the complexity of your site. For a custom designed and developed site (which we outsource), this project can take 3-6 months, depending on availability, asset collation and more.

    If you purchase one of our website templates with your branding package, and opt for the brand customisation, this takes 1-2 weeks.

    Please keep in mind that every project is different and will require a more detailed conversation and timeline.

  • Not at all. If you feel confident in writing your own website copy, then that’s absolutely fine! We provide a content structure that you’ll be able to use to write your copy to align with the structure of your site.

  • Not at all. If branding photography isn’t in your budget right now, that’s ok, but we do recommend having high quality images on hand to use throughout.

 

Template FAQs

  • You can download your files through Google Drive in the post-payment page.

    This will download a zip file containing all the necessary documents to get you started. Simply unzip the file and read the guide first. This will give you the link required to access your Canva templates.

    If you missed this page, allow a few minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox and then check your junk/spam folder! If you still can’t find them, please send us an email at hello@thirdgingerstudio.com.au and confirm the name and email you used that is associated with the order.

  • Now that you’ve purchased a website template, please allow 3 days for us to give you access via Squarespace. You’ll receive a downloadable guide that will give you all the necessary information and next steps.

    Keep an eye out on your inbox for the Squarespace contributor invite and link!

  • As this is a digital product, no refunds or exchanges will be given.

  • Payment is made securely through Squarespace or Flodesk using PayPal or Stripe. You will be sent an immediate confirmation email along with your download link. It is 100% safe.

  • Nothing! Your payment options and details are secure and totally confidential. The only details we keep is your email address if you choose to sign up to our newsletter. Then you will receive monthly newsletters with insider designer knowledge, sneak peeks to new work and first access to new freebies and products!

    Your information is 100% secure and will never be shared with anyone. You can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Simply put, no. You cannot distribute or sell these templates in any way – which includes sharing this resource with others. You can however, share the link to our Shop and support a fellow small business owner!
